Taylormade Consultancy is an independent company, founded by me, Susie Taylor, to provide specialist recruitment services for digital and integrated planners and strategists at all levels.

I moved into headhunting in 2007 from a 12-year career in business development consultancy for agencies
of all disciplines. Consequently, I can now draw on my experience of developing new business strategies and propositions for over 40 agencies.

I believe that the critical factor in recruiting and retaining staff – not to mention attracting new clients – is clear, consistent communication of a vision, and adherence to it. My priority therefore, is to understand the vision. As such I work in close consultation with clients – always the heads of planning or the management team – and candidates. In doing so, I can align the agency’s objectives with my candidates’ future aspirations and long-term career goals, whilst also addressing their key drivers, motivations and perspectives on planning.

I then look at the more specific, day-to-day requirements of the agency’s client and how the candidate might meet them. As such, I help agencies achieve their objectives through employing the right kind of talent, for the long-term, whilst also ensuring happier planners.
